Georgia Veterinary Specialist

Georgia Veterinary Specialists is a multi-specialty referral practice and 24-hour emergency facility committed to providing the highest quality veterinary care for your pets. The GVS team of board-certified specialists works in collaboration with primary care veterinarians throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding communities to diagnose and treat complex, challenging, and often life-threatening pet health problems. Veterinary specialists undergo four years of advanced training following the completion of their veterinary medical doctoral degree. This training includes an internship as well as a residency, typically in an academic environment or large specialty hospital. The doctors then complete rigorous qualification procedures and examinations by their specialty examining board in order to be called "board-certified specialists." It is this experience, combined with our range of specialists and our state-of-the-art facility, that allow us to focus on the goal we share with you and your veterinarian -- enabling your pet to live a longer and healthier life.

Royal Canine Pet Food

Royal Canin is not your average pet food company. Since our inception in 1967, we have been forerunners in health nutrition because we do things differently. We were different when we produced the first diet exclusively for large-breed dogs. Different when we developed Persian 30, the first diet tailor-made for a single breed. And different when we launched the first nutritional program for indoor cats.

What makes us different is what makes us better.

At Royal Canin you won’t find fish-shaped pieces in our cat food or peanut butter stuffed in our kibble. That’s because first and foremost, we respect the animal. Gimmicks benefit the pet owner. Superb nutrition based solely on science benefits the pet.

Wisdom Panel MX Mixed Breed Analysis

The Wisdom Panel™ MX Mixed Breed Analysis has been developed through years of scientific research into the genes that help determine the appearance and behavioral traits of dogs. The blood sample drawn from your dog will go through a complex analysis. The Wisdom Panel™ MX Mixed Breed Analysis will detect specific combinations of genetic markers to help reveal the breed heritage of your dog.

The information in your dog's analysis report can do more than satisfy your natural curiosity about the breeds that make up your dog: It can help you work with your vet to refine and develop the way you feed, train and care for your pet.
