We offer a variety of services here at Ambery Animal Hospital. We have provided a partial list of services below. Please feel free to give us a call if you do not see a service that you require. We will be more than happy to assist you.
BOARDING We are one of the largest boarding facilities within the Atlanta city limits. We have the capacity to house nearly 150 animals. This includes a variety of options such as indoor/ outdoor runs for your pet. We also have climate-controlled areas. We encourage you to come and view the facility prior to boarding your loved one.
APPOINTMENTS Although we care for pets primarily by appointment, walk-ins are accommodated and will be seen as time allows. Like humans, animals do not synchronize their illnesses with an appointment book, and procedures can sometimes take longer than planned, so an occasional appointment delay can occur.
DENTAL Our clients have become aware of the fact that it's just as important to have their pets' teeth examined and cleaned on a regular basis as it is to protect their own teeth and gums. Our specialized services include cleaning, polishing, tooth extraction, and oral surgery.
DIETARY PLANNING A sound diet is vital to the health of your pet at any age. Let's discuss what your pet needs - including dietary requirements essential for proper weight maintenance, performance, growth, and as an aid in the treatment of some diseases at every stage.
GERIATRIC COUNSELING Your pet is considered to be a senior at the age of seven. There is no better time to do a geriatric profile that includes complete comprehensive blood work, and a complete urinalysis. This is important for a number of reasons. Things can start to change internally at seven or older, and the geriatric profile will reveal these changes. We can often correct or improve these changes just through dietary changes.
VACCINATIONS One of the most effective ways of protecting your pet's health is to provide immunization against various common and sometimes deadly diseases. Our policy is to provide the best well-tested combinations of protection for your pet.
